We are vitally interested in sharing the good news of Jesus with our world. We support several mission works overseas with periodic gifts to missionaries such as Darla Bennett who is working in Kampala, Uganda. We also help support Reagon and Rachel Wilson through Barnabas, International. In addition, we encourage participation in short term mission trips that occur about every two years. We have sent teams to Haiti in the past few years (2000 and 2002) and last summer (2006) we went to Honduras. We hope to go on another short term trip in 2008. Locally we help support the Alaska Bible College in Soldotna. Last summer we had an evangelism seminar and have DVDs of this training available for use by any who would want to study this subject. Each spring we host the Abilene Christian University Spring Break Campaign that works to share God’s love with our community here in Anchorage. Our main thrust for reaching our community, however, is through our lifegroups that meet in homes during the week throughout the city.
